Those god damned “get me a Whopper” ads drive me insane. No so much because they are shown every commercial block or the people in then, but because they cater to “dumb America”. This was proven today when a friend of mine wanted to go to Burger King and the commercials came up. His proof that people liked Burger King more than McDonald’s were the commercials “All those people were upset mad that there were no Whoppers” I explained that, yes, some people were upset, but what they don’t show are the thousands of other people who say “Um, okay, Ill just have a double cheeseburger then”.
Now, I know there is something in there about mass media, politics and the stupidity of the average American citizen, but I’m a little tired to put it all together right now. I am sure you guys can figure it out for yourself. =)
